Nelson Precision Glock 44 Slide - The popular Austrian pistol manufacturer's first rimfire pistol, the Glock 44, was unveiled just before SHOT Show 2020, and it was one of the hottest new products at the show. The G44 has the same external dimensions as the G19, but is a blowback rifle chambered in .22 LR. For sufficient slide weight (within G19 slide dimensions) for reliable operation of the blowback rimfire function, the pistol features a hybrid slide design—a steel slide core wrapped in a polymer outer shell. Well, there have been some reports that the stiffness of these slides is unsatisfactory, as the SHOT show team test-fired these rifles in our booth during thousands of rounds and encountered no slide issues. However, for those who do not like the original G44 slide design for the above reason or any other reason, or want to install red dot sights on the G44, there is now an aftermarket alternative. Nelson Precision Manufacturing has released an aluminum G44 slide called the 44X.
The Nelson Precision 44X slide is constructed from 7075 aluminum and has a hard anodized finish. This slide has optical cutouts compatible with Trijicon RMR and SRO red dot sights. The sliding cover plate and the red dot cover plate are made of aluminium. 44x slide removed but compatible with all OEM G44 slide parts. For optimal performance, the company recommends using high-quality, high-velocity LR ammunition.

With manufacturing information the 44X has vertical front and rear rows with the 44X, USA and 22L. Milled on the left side of the slide. Right side has S/N and AZ status. As shown in the picture, the 44X-Carry has an aggressive slide with the top and side windows milled into the slide and milled 44 times. As pictured, the 44X with angled front and rear notches only has front and rear rows with no tools on the slide. As in the picture
